What happens when you bring together influential marketers to discuss the One to One Customer Journey and the paths they are taking to achieve that lofty objective? We found out last week at the CMO Outlook | Women’s Marketing Leadership Forum held in Morristown. Over fifty marketers and guests representing some of the areas biggest and emerging brands were in attendance to listen and learn from the group of expert panelists.
Moderator and demand gen marketing expert, Emily Deadwyler (far right) lead the panel discussion of leading marketers, (from left) Caroline Corrigan O’Hare, Global Head of Content Marketing and Market Research for Bloomberg, LP, Faith Aronow, Director, Digital Marketing, Wyndham/RCI, and Sakti Kunz, Head of Data and Analytics Solutions, Honeywell. “I find it amazing how brilliant and creative these women are on their journey to that elusive single customer view,” explains Emily. “There is no one right path and there is no guide book. It’s forums like this where we can all learn from each other and have peer level discussions that are invaluable.”
Caroline Corrigan O’Hare got the conversation started on the right track. “To achieve the single customer view you need to ensure your content marketing functions as an extension of your service – think ‘content-as-a-service’. What you learn along the way about a customer or prospect based on their engagement with content enables you to continue providing value to them, and thus deepen the relationship.”
Faith Aronow expanded on that thought. “The topic of one to one is the cornerstone of our strategy across all marketing, at least for us, so I really appreciated the opportunity to brainstorm with executives across various industries. The session provided me with a different perspective and valuable insight into the journey of journeys.”
Sakti Kunz stated the question of the evening, “How does the one to one customer journey change when the buyer is a machine?”
Sponsors Magnet 360, Salesforce, St. Jacques Marketing and Allegro BI made it all possible. “Magnet 360 is proud to be part of the CMO Outlook | Women’s Marketing Leadership Forum and happy we could participate.” said Tina Sherman, Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Magnet 360. “As implementers of tools, strategies and systems to help brands achieve that single customer view, we wanted to be part of this important conversation.”
“There’s pent up demand for this type of peer level learning environment where leading marketers can blend socializing, building their networks, and discuss challenges to growth primarily focused on near future marketing strategies and technologies, says Philip St. Jacques, President of St. Jacques Marketing. “We plan many more of these events not only in North Jersey, but in cities up and down the east coast, and beyond. Stay tuned.”
